week 3
I really enjoyed reading about your first experiences confronting the differences in your culture and living here. I'm glad your experiences living here have been positive! For this week, I want you to describe the one or two most important characteristics (for example, honesty, sense of humor, intelligence) a person can have to be successful living and studying in another country.

I think that the important characteristics are positive and curiosity when I live in the other countries.
ReplyDeleteFirst, it is positive. I have many experiences of failure in various things. The order in the shop and a telephone… I was in very low spirits. However, I don’t be afraid of failure and be positive about now. Then I think that everything goes well. Next, it is curiosity. If countries are different, the culture is different. I think that it is important to challenge various things with curiosity.
To be successful living and studying in other countries, the most important thing is passion I've already graduated from college. Even though I graduated 6years ago,To be a teacher, I flew to U.S.A. I think that the age is just number.Many people told me to study hard to get old so study on time. I go my way in defiance of public opinion.

In my opinion, people want to be successful living and studying in other country must have two thing. First is vivacity, if you are not vivacity, how do you make new friends. Everybody need friends. For example, Almost student stay in the other country, is studying language, if you don't have friends how do you improve your language. Second is respect. I think everybody will know about that. It's very important whenever you stay in the country.
ReplyDeleteLiving another country will face more challenges you haven't ever seen before. Humble and confident is important character for living another country. A person of humble always kwon what is their weakness and needs, than they will learn how to make themselves better, just like a empty bottle can fill a lot water. Confident also is necessary character. If you don't have this, you will afraid of everything you don't know something new.
ReplyDeleteBeing successful living and studying in another country needs sense of humor. The sense of humor has many means. This is my opinion. The first's opinion, I live in the USA and we are different about everything. Especially, we are different a language. I need to talk with someone while I am looking for something. If I dont have a sense of humor I will give up about communication. But I can try to talk with American workers and I will explain them about my minds. It is sense of humor. Thanks a lof.
ReplyDeleteThe main characteristics in Saudi Arabia to be a succeed person is the islamic attitude and behaviour is an important thing,for exaumple:prayer and honesty.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion patience and commitment intentions are two important characteristics for me to studying and living in another country. The first patience is important because when I go to study I leave from my family, I feel sad and lonely but patience made me strong. I always awareness, I am not stay alone and lonely when I miss my family. The last commitment intention is important for me because I graduated for long time ago and I think it very hard for me to go back to study again, but I need to learn. My goal is study English language. I need to improve my self in language skill and I think patience and commitment intentions can help me to reaches my goal.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion confidence is important characteristics for my studying and living in the USA. First, confidence is very positive thing. When I was came to the USA first time,I went to TARGET and SAFEWAY, then I was looking for something but I couldn't found it. So I was want a ask someone but I worried about my English speaking is not good and my pronouncation is not good. So I was gave up. But that was wrong thought. I was came to the USA just four month ago, so my English skill is not good that is a natural result so I dont need worry about that. So when I have quiestions I just ask someone know about that.

ReplyDeleteIf I don't study hard, I learn English slowly. but I stuty hard, I learn English fastly. so I think that Effort is important thing.
i think Patient it's important characteristics for me. patient can help you to learn English, if you failt to talk to another people you have be patient to learn english well . You have to fait to learn well
ReplyDeletePatience and self confidence are the most important charectrisics that can help you out in a new country, especially if you need to speak a new language. These two characteristics will encourage you to talk to other people and finish your works in this new country. At the end your language will be better.
